Why We Started

SmartTot Shop was founded by parents who had been through the exact moments that keep new parents awake at night — the first fall, the first time your toddler made a run for the stairs, the night you walked into the nursery four times just to check they were still breathing.

We started with a single product and a single question: why are baby safety products either ugly, ineffective, or both? We set out to build a small, focused range of safety essentials that actually work, look like they belong in a real home, and are backed by honest information — not exaggerated claims.
